Every May, SIAL International Food Exhibition (Shanghai), one of the world’s top three food exhibitions and the annual conference of the world’s food industry chain, is held in Pudong, Shanghai, China, which is organised by France’s Gomez Abbey Exhibition Group. Since landing in China in 2000, the SIAL China International Food Exhibition series has attracted more than 40,000 exhibitors from more than 70 countries and regions around the world, covering 21 major categories such as beverages, dairy products, snack foods, convenience foods, grains and oils, fruits, vegetables and meat ingredients, and spices. Professional visitors came from more than 100 countries and regions around the world, covering food importers and exporters, distributors, wholesale and retailers, supermarkets and hypermarkets, hotels and catering, etc., with more than 1 million visitors.

SIAL International Food Expo (Shanghai) will be held on 28-30 May 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The exhibition area will reach 180,000 square metres and is expected to attract 4,500 exhibitors and more than 150,000 professionals from around the world, with ten summit forums and seven exciting events to be held during the same period.

There will be eight thematic pavilions, including: Casual Food Pavilion, Comprehensive Imported Food Pavilion, Green Agriculture Pavilion, Meat and Frozen Food Pavilion, Grain, Oil and Seasoning Pavilion, Convenience Food Pavilion, High-end Beverages Pavilion, Dairy and Health Food Pavilion, as well as the exhibition area for associations and governmental organisations. ,

Ten forums and summits will be held during the same period of the International Food Expo (Shanghai), including: Global New Retail Summit, Food Supply Chain Forum, Food Investment and Financing Summit, Nutrition and Healthy Food New Trend, Imported Food Industry Summit, Global Dairy Cooperation Forum, China Catering New Trend Forum, International Meat Conference, E-commerce Platform Investment Promotion Conference, and Intellectual Property Rights Licensing Forum. And eight events will be held, including: Innovation Competition, Gourmet Kitchen, 21 Courses on Healthy Food, Celebrity Chef Feast, Café Event, Fresh Life and Live Show.
