COMPUTEX Taipei is the largest computer show in Asia and the second largest in the world. Founded in 1981, it is a benchmark exhibition for global information communication and Internet of Things technology applications, and an important platform for cooperation between global emerging companies and strategic partners. Over the years, we have grown and prospered together with the global ICT industry, and witnessed the historic moments of industrial development and change.
This year, domestic and foreign technology companies will focus on “connecting AI” and jointly showcase new technologies such as AI computing, forward-looking communications, future travel, immersive reality, green sustainability, as well as various innovative solutions such as smart manufacturing, digital health, net zero emissions, biotechnology medical care, and smart travel.
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang said that generative artificial intelligence is the decisive technology of this era, and the Blackwell architecture is a new GPU engine that drives the new industrial revolution. The Blackwell processor contains 208 billion transistors and is manufactured using TSMC’s 4NP process designed specifically for Nvidia. Through 10TB per second chip-to-chip interconnect technology, the function of two graphics chips is provided on a graphics card super chip, which is the connector of the Hopper architecture. Blackwell’s AI chips mainly include B100 and B200, as well as GB200 equipped with Grace CPU. Compared with the previous generation chip H100, its AI training speed is increased by 4 times, its reasoning ability is increased by 30 times, and its energy consumption is reduced by 25 times.
