Preface
Green development has become a global consensus, and China has proposed to achieve “carbon peak” by 2030 and “carbon neutrality” by 2060. “Green factory” is the main body of green manufacturing implementation, that is, “land intensive use, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste resource utilization, low-carbon energy” factory, building a green factory is also an important way to promote industrial structure optimization, quality improvement and efficiency increase.
Buildings with steel and wood structures as the main body and metal enclosure systems have the advantages of green energy saving, high strength, low engineering cost, light weight, short construction period, good seismic performance, factory production and recycling, and have become the main form of building green factories. In order to improve the green and low-carbon level of China’s high-end manufacturing industry and promote the creation of green factories, the “Asian Green Factory Design, Construction and Factory Affairs Conference and Exhibition” co-organized by the Steel and Wood Building Branch of the China Construction Industry Association, the Shanghai Development Zone Association, the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, the Shanghai Energy Conservation Engineering Technology Association, the Shanghai Metal Structure Industry Association and Shanghai Exhibition Industry Exhibition Co., Ltd. will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from August 2 to 4, 2024. It aims to take green and environmental protection as the guide, steel structure construction as the direction, innovation and integration as the means, and actively practice the high-quality and sustainable development of green factories!
