Yiwu Small Commodity Fair – Yiwu Fair (CHINA YIWU FAIR) is the world’s most influential and effective consumer goods exhibition. It is jointly organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government, China Light Industry Federation and China General Chamber of Commerce. The total area of the last exhibition was 180,000 square metres, with 2,892 exhibitors from South Korea, India, Pakistan, Egypt and Russia, and the number of exhibitors reached 207,159 people.

It scientifically grasps the development trend of consumer goods at home and abroad, faces the world, serves the whole country, aims at the domestic and international markets, and endeavours to build a preferred platform for global consumer goods producers and buyers to carry out trade negotiations, technical exchanges, and information dissemination. In this year’s exhibition, the Innovation and Design Zone, the Korea Design Institute Zone and the Lankao Pavilion attracted a large number of buyers on-site docking procurement, and the exhibition and trade effect was remarkable.

During CHINA YIWU FAIR Yiwu Commodity Fair, 10 procurement docking activities were also held, attracting a total of 282 domestic and foreign supermarkets and supermarket chains purchasers, directly matching a total of 2009 suppliers, with an intended turnover of 978,553,500 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.86%. In order to further enrich the connotation of the exhibition, the exhibition was also held during the ‘Fair theme activities’, ‘Golden Decade, Changing Customers lead’ – cross-border e-commerce summit forum, ‘win-win co-operation and sharing’ – design to create market Development”-Design and Market Creation Summit Forum, Fashion Trend Conference and other supporting economic and trade activities. It has achieved the double effect of interaction with the exhibition and actively promoted the economic and trade benefits of the exhibition.
